Taiwanese Hokkien is similar as those converse in China FUJIAN. They are typically known as 偏泉腔 originated from 泉州 or 偏漳腔originated from 漳州.
Singapore Hokkien is known as 胡咯話 in Chinese will be 混合腔I was told mixed of everything.

No problem for me even though my spoken Hokkien is no good. But listening to it, especially when I was working in Taiwan back in the 1990s was not a problem. Watching those minnan Taiwanese drama series is not a problem for me too.

Becos Hokkien doesnt have the F sound for Hokkien speaking region like ROC and Fujian
Ask an old hokkien to say 飞机 in mandarin.
Fei Ji will become Hui ji. Their Hokkien accent is very strong unlike us. We know how to differentiate them.
Those Chinese word with F sound will change to H sound... one you change this sound, maybe you can speak like them.

F sound was influenced by the Mongolians or northern people, some prior to Yuan dynasty.
