Certainly, this could leave Sands Casino out in the cold..

Or possibly, considering to shift it's billions $$$ operation away from Singapore to Bangkok, a much larger tourists destination.

Obviously rah. Ang Mo , PRC , even locals here , Malaysia etc all like to go Thailand holiday even stay there. Foods, expenses there increase too inflation but cheaper in SG even Malaysia too. Next the law there is not say dam strict either. Come smoking and drinking. I feel they this time indeed learn from LKY . LKY used to say if SG never open Casino other countries will. And now finally other countries too. I also know Japan also legal Casino I think already legal? No doubt Japan have many underground casino.

And threat from 6 Asean countries IE 5 from IndoChina and Malaysia to form one destination ( guess be the same as EU)

Thailand is a perfect place for Casino. Its already a entertainment cum sin city so casino is very tame in comparision

Singapore cannot keep still or the 2 casinos become white elephant..

Place your bets, Singapore should grant 10 more casino licences making up 12 in total,  and try to stay ahead of Thailand.

And start training Singaporeans to be top poker players in the world.
