why still no lockdown , casino can still open for business , people are dying everyday, why no measures to counter the rising case and keep wanting to opening up border.  people are very angry with our gov and what normal citizen can do. we are in a state emergency. will our minister or mr lee can do something? or maybe open mouth ask other country to help. cannot see each day die so many of our precious citizen. They have contribute to singapore and yet we cant help them.

Empathy and compassion if not presence, having high intelligence is just failure.

Looking at the local governance of Fujian, they see human lives are more important which brought them to lockdown the whole province preventing their citizens from spreading the virus. 

Though this has an impact with their economy, but people’s lives matter more than anything. That’s compassion in my opinion. 

Conversely looking back at our elites mentality, other than their interest which ties to the economy. And probably due to not having any accountability, they have no qualm in sacrificing some of our people.

i think miw thought they could manage and overcome the covid19 easily.
most probably, miw were able to contain covid to only a few local cases during the late 2020 and early 2021 with much help from it's people.
their heads swell and they become complacent.
they even allow those ah nehs to travel freely in/out of our country, even though india was the height of the delta covid at that time.
i suppose the start of the covid delta local victims came from changi airport, the birth place and the root causes of 2000+ local cases we see now.
we know, miw can isolate themselves in their ivory tower, but not the commoners who got no where to hide.
