WTF?  can pay in installments and being  quite high earners still wanna crowd fund?

"It did not help that they were only able to use MediSave and Mr Semodio’s insurance to pay for about S$143,950 of their son’s estimated S$335,000 medical bill. They are still left to find about S$191,000 out of their own pocket.

The hospital has agreed in principle to their request to pay the bill in instalments, but it is still “a really huge sum”, Mr Semodio said.

That was why when their family friend initiated an online fundraiser through fundraising platform GiveAsia for the family, they could not be more grateful."

Recently I noticed cases like this quite a lot. Yea the parents will do crowd funding seeking for Public donation. They also submit to Give.sg to get approve.

Yea, this case their parents not say dam poor, Hospital also claim can do instalment why they don't opt in?

I believe that their Church has helped them through prayers and also some donation from Church funds.

It is good that the father's insurance is able to cover some but also, these Foreign MNCs medical insurance often include their children as well with $200,000, which of course depends on the medical coverage in certain areas ie hospital, surgery, consultation, medicine.

(1) Medisave= From mother because she is PR

(2) Insurance= Under husband's JP Morgan because only Company Group Insurance can include children

why they did not downgrade their hdb flat to smaller flat to pay off the bill ?

why they did not take a personal loan to pay off the bill ?

why they did not apply for singapore citizenship to enjoy govt subsidy ?

The Family & Youth Ministry or JP Morgan HR should reach out to them

To give them a 20 hour Ethics Course

But best to kick them out of SG, lah.

Covid 19 is a major cause of myocarditis.

Almost every one kenna Covid whether vaccinated or not? It means every one can get heart problems according to SgFett's assertion that "Covid 19 is a major cause of myocarditis".

Those vaccinated with deactivated Vaccines hardly reported to have heart problems. Deactivated have been in use for nearly hundred years already.

Vaccination can help prevent serious covid

exactly, worst decision in life not to fully vaxxed him with the best and latest mRNA vaccine! Tongue

despite him not catching covid after both his parents got covid lolololol....  Tongue

just like his parents, he won't even get covid or myocarditis after mRNA vax... Tongue

best of all if he dies, it will be just underlying conditions even if myocarditis... Tongue

hope his parents keep him up to date with the mRNA vaxx after he discharge from hospital.... Tongue

Hahaha still blaming unvax for the myocarditis even when the kid didn't get covid despite both parents getting it...

The kid prolly got it before, but it was so mild and asymptomatic until tested negative...

But this time something weakened the child immune system 9696, until can kenna covid until jialat jialat...

Wait till the mRNA vaccinated parents find out what they are shedding to their own child which can cause a whole range of issues... Tongue

The world is questioning mRNA vaccines while PAP gov is still promoting mRNA vaccines and shaming unvax.

The truth is alternative safe and tested early treatment protocols were suppressed to push the mRNA vaccines as the "only" choice and to get emergency use approval...

The parents need to ask what weakened the child immune system which was able to fend off covid previously when the parents got it, but now succumbed to covid so easily and even kenna myocarditis?
