The Kremlin spokesman presents the conditions for stopping the fighting in Ukraine

Information

The conditions mentioned by Peskov were the cessation of military activities by Ukraine, the change of the country's constitution so that it would include Ukraine's neutrality, recognition of the Russian annexation of Crimea and recognition of the independence of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic - separatist republics whose independence, just before the war in Ukraine Russia recognized.

In an interview with Reuter, Peskov stressed that Russia was ready to cease military operations as soon as Kyiv accepted these conditions.

"And they were told this (hostilities) could be stopped in an instant," he added.

On the issue of Ukraine's neutrality, Peskov said that Ukraine should make changes to the constitution that would say that Ukraine will not belong to any military bloc.

Peskov also assured that Russia has no further territorial claims against Ukraine. - We will end this when Ukraine is demilitarized. The most important thing is for Ukraine to stop its military activities. They should stop fighting and then no one will shoot - said the Kremlin spokesman.

The conditions are not difficult to match. The last part is hard to digest.

It is strange he asks for these when his claim was De-nazification ad demilitarization earlier.

Crimea , Donetz etc he already took by force.
Whatever status ahould be done by referendum by the people there since Putin claimed he was there to 'liberate' the people.

The neurtality demand after Russia just violated Ukrainian sovereignty makes it difficult for Ukraine to agree to. Howq does Ukraine ever feel secure after what Russia has done?

How does being neutral violate the sovereignty of Ukraine? Switzerland is neutral, did their sovereignty get violated in any way? What he asks for is consistent. He don't flip prata like u or the West so u will never understand.
