However given the virus is already so widespread, vaccination is still a better choice but infection cases must be brought down to near zero to reduce the pool for the virus to mutate (like what China and NZ are doing). The endemic approach is the opposite which will just accelerate the mutations of the virus, giving rise to more potent variants.

Bro, for the world to bring Covid under control there will have to be co-operation and co-ordination by all nations. Not some do this, other do that. NZ, tiongkok and Oz are trying their best to stamp it out but other goondu countries like Sinpwn wants to live with Covid. Elderly are high risk group, I always urge them to go vaccinate, nothing to lose. I was refering to young people who can no need to vaccinate.
