think he can stand for election because he will appeal unless the election can wait until the outcome of the appeal which is unlikely.

If fine more than $2K while waiting to come GE 25 come in May so will he eligible to stand in WP ?....

You're assuming rather childishly that Singapore voters voted for personalities. You can say that for Malaysian politics whose politicians achieved rockstar status. 

Here, the last rockstar died in 2015.

I do hv backspine and don't give in to pappies trying to buy votes or nuisance propaganda. Stand by yourself and not to be too greedy of sweeteners. My down young generations are more important. Because all Oppositions and supporters already know he lied and covering for RK. At the expense of WP future.

So as usual, Oppositions will cry foul and supporters will drum up emotionally injustice. Crying out loud for more votes.
In Singapore, Oppositions never concerns about the quality of party. 

Just vote out PAP and anyone can take over under a Coalition Government...cheers!

It is a 2 sided scenarios. Those pappies who done many mistakes, blunders and mess also not taken into tasks. Only a word of sorry seems so easy. Not even any committee of hearing. So, oppositions voters, I believed, wil even give more support with sympathy votes. I wil stil vote for Oppositions.

We want a capable and trustworthy Coalition Government! 

If not, changing from one cat with a rat, will not help Singaporean, especially the younger generations. 
It will definitely bankrupt Singapore and Singaporean, by then, all hell will break loose. Mark my word!!! 🤣

Sympathy vote is the worst, because no foreigner will Sympathy Singaporeans when we are broken down.
Look at Ukrainian, Palestinian, where is the Sympathy for them?
