I like how this article phrase the narrative like whether Japan is willing to help fight against China rather than whether it is able to in the first place. Maybe they can also do another poll to ask the Somalians whether they would like to invade US.

Willingness is important here as Taiwan is not part of Japan, while the U.S. wants Japan to get involved in Taiwan Strait when war breaks out, Japan has never agreed, discussion has been going on between Japan and Taiwan on evacuation of 20k Japanese citizens from Taiwan when war breaks out.
