Russian Govt plans to allocate 90 bil rubles ($948 mil) one-time payments for concluding a military contract with Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) for 2025 to 2027. Kremlin to continue relying on ongoing mobilization efforts to meet manpower, requirements of war on Ukraine for as long as the mobilization system works. The govt appears to have amended its plan to deanonymize Russian social media accounts following significant backlash within Russian ultranationalist info.

Ukrainian officials continue to provide statistics regarding Russian war crimes, shedding light on extent of violations committed by Russian forces and authorities. Meanwhile recent Ukrainian missile strike occupied Donetsk City reportedly killed several North Korean military officials.

Russian forces recently advanced within main Ukrainian salient in Kursk Oblast, near Toretsk, near Pokrovsk, & southwest of Donetsk City.

Russian Stealth Drone Was On A Bombing Got Shot Down Over Ukraine. A glide bomb was amid the wreckage of the Sukhoi S-70 Okhotnik. A 65-foot-wingspan, subsonic S-70 was over eastern front line is shot down. Wreckage rained down on nearby Kostyantynivka. Amid the scorched drone parts were apparent components of a D-30SN precision glide bomb, that strongly implies the Okhotnik was flying a bombing sortie when it shot down. Russian air unofficial read that revelation evidence a lot of S-70s over Ukraine, “has begun to massively use heavy strike UAVs Inokhodets and Okhotnik in the special op area,” the Inokhodets is a non-stealthy, propeller-driven combat drone.

It’s clear the 26-foot-long Inokhodets are routinely flying sorties, Ukrainians have shot down at least seven of drones. It’s less clear Okhotniks are making more than a token contribution to the Russian war effort. Sukhoi first flew this satellite-guided Okhotnik in 2019, dropped bomb from the drone for first time two years later. Company built Okhotniks was a production model, not a prototype, it’s hard to verify that claim.

Given how slowly Sukhoi develops new warplane designs, it’s possible there still just 2 Okhotniks in Russian inventory b4 one is shot to ground on Saturday. More optimistically for Russians, there were three: 2 prototypes plus first eg from the initial serial production batch.

it’s evident Russian air intends to deploy the huge new drone as glide bomber, lobbing precision-guided winged bombs at Ukrainian troops and civilians from 25 miles away or farther. At present, as hundred or so Sukhoi Su-34 bombers air force’s main glide bombers, they stay busy dropping around 3,000 glide bombs every mth.

Su-34 regiments have had hard time. Ukrainian air have shot down at least 29 of the 2-pilots, supersonic bombers since Russia widened war February 2022. That’s a 5th of all Su-34s Sukhoi has built. Adding S-70s to the glide-bombing campaign would give the Su-34 regiments a break— save lives of hard-to-replace aircrew.

  1. That’s easier said than done, as Saturday’s mishap proved U.S. Air Force, the leader in artificial intelligence (A.I.) for combat drones, is still yrs from deploying a fully A.I. drone. The Russian air force is yrs behind that.

So Okhotnik almost certainly still relies on a strong radio link to its operators sitting on the ground somewhere in Russia that satellite-relayed link is vulnerable to powerful radio jamming complicates communications navigation all along the 700-mile front line in Ukraine

There’s a good chance Russian air force shot down that Okhotnik near Chasiv Yar on Saturday after the drone lost its connection to its operators. A rogue drone might crash-land mostly intact behind enemy lines, essentially handing its technological secrets to the other side’s intelligence agencies and to the U.S. The Russians probably hoped that, by shooting down drone, hope to render it inscrutable to foreign analysts. They failed, of course. Enough of the S-70 & its payload was intact for observers to identify the drone & the glide bomb it was carrying.

Rutte visited Kyiv last week on his first trip to Ukraine's capital as NATO's chief, a position he assumed on Oct. 1. During meeting, the parties discussed swift implementation of NATO Washington Summit decisions, in particular, on strengthening Ukraine with new air defense systems, enhancing aviation capabilities& allied investments in Ukrainian production of shells, drones & long-range weaponry," according to the Presidential Office. Zelensky's tour will continue with visits to France, Italy, & Germany in an effort to ramp up support across European continent ahead of the uncertain U.S. election.

Ukraine faces an increasingly difficult situation in the war, with Russian forces steadily pushing forward along eastern front & growing anxieties over energy deficits in coming winter. There are fears if Republican candidate Donald Trump returns to the White House, the U.S. might scale down its support or push Kyiv toward peace at the cost of painful territorial concessions.

Breaking News: Ukrainian F-16 Fighter Wins First Air-to-Air Fight Shoots Down Russian Su-34.
F-16 Fighting Falcon is renowned for its versatile air-to-air combat capabilities, combining advanced avionics, radar systems, and an array of precision-guided missiles. One of its standout features is the AN/APG-66(V2) radar, which allows it to track multiple targets simultaneously while providing enhanced detection range and precision. The F-16 can carry a range of air-to-air missiles, including the AIM-120 AMRAAM for beyond-visual-range engagements and the AIM-9X Sidewinder for close-range dogfighting. Thanks to its off-boresight capability, the AIM-9X's ability to lock onto targets from extreme angles makes it particularly lethal in close-quarters combat. This mix of radar-guided and infrared-guided weapons enables the F-16 to dominate in both long-range and short-range engagements.

Compared to other contemporary fighter aircraft, such as Russia’s Su-35 and MiG-31, the F-16 has certain advantages regarding agility and electronic warfare capabilities. While the Su-35 boasts superior long-range radar and missile systems, the F-16 compensates with its superior maneuverability and integrated electronic warfare systems like the Pylon Integrated Dispensing System (PIDS), which deploys countermeasures to evade radar-guided threats. This agility, coupled with advanced helmet-mounted cueing systems that allow pilots to engage targets by simply looking at them, gives the F-16 a distinct advantage in close combat.

Six Russian soldiers who fled the war in Ukraine have been granted temporary visas as they apply for political asylum in France, in what human rights activists describe as the first major case of a group of deserters being admitted to a EU country. The men arrived in Paris on separate flights over the last few months after initially fleeing Russia to Kazakhstan in 2022 and 2023, according to an organisation that assists soldiers in fleeing, and to accounts from the deserters.“When I landed in France, it was the first time I could breathe fully. I felt a sense of calmness and freedom … the worst was behind me,” Alexander, a former Russian contract soldier who was sent to Ukraine and deserted during the summer of 2023, told the Guardian in an interview.

Meanwhile...Thousands of North Korean troops not expected to tilt the battlefield advantage towards Moscow but do their fighting for Putin's to highlight Russia’s desperation in face of high war losses. Poor North Korean will be facing U.S. & Ukraine missiles & million of drone war. There are some seen included been kill in Crimea.
