Today, we know that at the time of Joseph, there was no Pharaoh. So in this case, the Quran was spot on. If the Quran copied from the Bible, why did it not copy that mistake as well?

The OT and NT are the same everywhere...some denominations carry extra books and that is only for additional reading....but no denominations preach the infancy gospel of Thomas because it is not a trustworthy source and there Islam decides to pick it up and tell us similar stories

Their story is important in various religious and cultural contexts, as it talks about creation, temptation, free will, and the consequences of choice...This is bigger than Abrahim sacrificing his son which I have no idea why moslems celebrate...How can the Quran leave out the name of the mother of all creations and still claim to be fully detailed....

The Quran also leave out the Passover and plenty more....how can it be the word of God when it is simply lacking...The Quran can be viewed by some as uninspired writings created by unmotivated authors.
