Scripture readings for Christmas

They all have different interpretations...all trying to steal the limelight from each other...where is the unity in opinions? None!

I'm only showing you what is explicitly clear, against your ambiguous selections.

We both cherry-pick from the Bible.

Now u admit u cherry pick good!

But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built! - 1 Kings 8

He alone is immortal and dwells in unapproachable light. No one has ever seen Him, nor can anyone see Him. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen. - 1 Timothy 6:16

So why you both believe God was walking about on planet earth? That would be a contradiction to what the 2 verses say.

You do that too.

Many times, you will quote a verse here and there.

That's called cherry picking.

Most of the time, you can say 90% of the time, all the scholars are in agreement.

Don be a fool..study the commentary, you think you know better than the biblical scholars? Big Grin

In 1 Kings 8:27, Solomon acknowledges God's transcendence, recognizing that even the vastness of the heavens cannot contain Him. He then questions whether God would truly dwell on earth, acknowledging the inadequacy of the temple he has built. This highlights the immense gap between God's infinite nature and the limited space of the temple, yet it also expresses Solomon's faith in God's willingness to dwell with His people in a special way through the temple.

This verse just highlight His inaccessibility to human sight due to His divine glory....

The verse does not imply that Jesus is not divine

No, you're mistaken.

I said most of the time, all the scholars agree in their Quranic exegesis. There are a few verses where they differ, like that one.

I disagree with your faith in Jesus being God. But I never said you are lying when you give your opinion on why you believe Jesus is God.

So, if you disagree with my opinion, do not say I am lying. If you do that, you're the liar.

That verse says 1. God alone is immortal and 2. no one can see God.

Those 2 points in that verse will prove that Jesus is NOT God.

Any Jew who believes Jesus is God is a Christian.

So, tell me which Jewish rabbi says a man is God who dwells on earth.
