To Pursuing Peace is on Putin mind on his term, no but!, be'cos is not, not for Trump or Ukraine term...Putin's is a long has a new constitution was adopted, which established a federal semi-presidential system. Since turn of the century, Russia's political system has been dominated by Vladimir Putin, under whom the country has experienced no, no democratic backsliding and become an authoritarian dictatorship.

Trump, Putin conclude high-stakes summit on Ukraine in Alaska
U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin meet at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. August 15, 2025 (Updated: August 16, 2025 2:38 am)
U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Alaska on Aug. 15 for a high-stakes summit, part of Washington's effort to negotiate a peace deal in Ukraine.
Both leaders met for a photo opportunity after disembarking their planes around 11 a.m. local time. Putin joined Trump in the U.S. president's motorcade en route to the location of the meeting.
Although Ukraine is on top of the agenda, President Volodymyr Zelensky has not been invited to the summit, sparking fears in Kyiv and Europe that Putin and Trump might strike a deal unfavorable to the war-torn country.
The two leaders began their meeting at the U.S. military Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage at around 11:30 a.m. local time. The event will mark their first face-to-face talks of Trump's second term and their first meeting in six years, as well as Putin's first visit to U.S. soil in a decade.
The meeting concluded around 2 p.m. local time, approximately two-and-a-half hours after the the talks began. Putin and Trump are expected to hold a joint news conference at the conclusion of their meeting.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff accompanied Trump to the meeting, while Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and presidential aide Yuri Ushakov participated alongside Putin in a "three-on-three" meeting.
Noted: U.S. President Donald Trump greets Russian President Vladimir Putin upon his arrival at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, on Aug. 15, 2025. The discussions will also include a working breakfast and negotiations in a wider format in a "five-on-five" structure.
As ongoing discussions between the two world leaders continue, Russia has launched multiple aerial attacks towards Ukraine, officials reported. The Air Force said that a group of Russian attack drones were en route towards Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, while a Russian KAB glide bomb was deployed targeting Ukraine's front line regions.
Trump and his team boarded Air Force One at the Joint Base Andrews in Maryland just before 8 a.m. local time, starting a seven-hour flight to Alaska, the Guardian reported. The U.S. president is accompanied by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, special envoy Steve Witkoff, and other officials, Reuters reported, citing the White House.
According to CNN sources, U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg was excluded from the delegation due to Russia's position. The Russian side reportedly views Kellogg as strongly sympathetic to Ukraine, raising concerns that his presence could have been counterproductive. Talking to journalists aboard the plane, Trump said that territorial swaps will be discussed in the talks, but he has "got to let Ukraine make that decision," adding he thinks "they'll make a proper decision."
"But I'm not here to negotiate for Ukraine," the U.S. president said, claiming that Putin would be taking "all of Ukraine" if Trump were not in office. He also said that Russia may be trying to "set the stage" for negotiations by fresh drone strikes. "Maybe it's just his (Putin's) fabric, his genes, his genetics, but he thinks that gives him strength in negotiating. I think it hurts him," he said, adding he would discuss the matter with Putin.
The U.S. president spoke by phone with Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko, widely regarded as Putin's closest ally, ahead of the summit, according to Lukashenko's press service.
Trump confirmed the call, saying they discussed the release of 1,300 political prisoners and Putin's upcoming visit to Alaska. He added that he "looks forward" to meeting Lukashenko in person.

Two undisclosed U.S. administration officials told NBC News Trump did roll out red carpet to welcome Putin personally at Elmendorf-Richardson base upon his arrival. The Russian delegation includes foreign policy advisor Yuri Ushakov, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, economic negotiator Kirill Dmitriev, and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
In his evening address, Zelensky said Russian forces continue to carry out deliberate attacks across Ukraine. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast cities & industrial sites. Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, & Donetsk oblasts — Russia deliberate says Russian attacks continues. It continues exactly there as no order, nor any signals that Moscow is preparing to end this war."
Video thumbnail said: U.S. president struck a confident note ahead of the summit, saying Putin is "going to make a deal." He, Trump also said he aims to organize a subsequent trilateral meeting involving Zelensky and possibly European leaders. "I think it's going to be more important meeting will come on 2nd meeting, we will be having," he said, referring to a possible summit with the Ukrainian president. Trump has previously described summit with Putin as a "feel-out" session to gauge Moscow's readiness for peace...
An unnamed U.S. official told CNN that "all options remain on the table" for the summit, adding Trump could walk out if he feels Putin is not serious about reaching a deal.
Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said on Aug. 15 that she would consider nominating Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize if he plays a crucial role in ending the war in Ukraine. "If he could end it (the war) without putting Ukraine in a position where it had to concede its territory to the aggressor, could really stand up to Putin... if President Trump were the architect of that, I'd nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize," Clinton told the Raging Moderates podcast. According to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, no documents are expected to be signed following the summit, and the two sides will later outline the scope of agreements that they will be able to achieve.
While the settlement of the war in Ukraine will be the central topic, economic cooperation and global security will also be discussed, Moscow said. According to Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to Ukraine's presidential office, the country will judge the meeting on whether it produces a ceasefire, ensures that the next steps are agreed in coordination with Ukraine and Europe, and sends a clear message to other countries that supporting Russia will lead to isolation and the loss of access to global markets. "No trading of territories, no special status for occupied areas. First, people stop dying, then politics begins," Podolyak wrote on Telegram.
The meeting with Putin represents a clear break from the diplomatic isolation imposed on the Kremlin's leader by Trump's predecessor, former U.S. President Joe Biden, after the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine in 2022.
"It seems that Russia is gradually emerging from the isolation it found itself in in 2022," Fedor Krasheninnikov, a Russian political analyst and Kremlin critic, told the Kyiv Independent.
"Just yesterday, he (Putin) was still a war criminal no one intended to engage with, and now Trump is inviting him personally to America, and treating him as one of the parties to the conflict — not as the aggressor," said exiled Russian opposition figure Dmitry Gudkov.

Ukraine-Russia war latest: Kyiv ‘pushes Russian forces back’ hours after Putin asks Trump for Donetsk surrender.
Kyiv's troops say they have advanced up to 1.2 miles, repelling Russian troops on the northern Sumy front...The Ukrainian military has claimed to have pushed Russia’s forces back by about 1.2 miles on part of the Sumy front in northern Ukraine.
"Ukrainian soldiers continue active combat actions to destroy the enemy and liberate our settlements," the Ukrainian general staff said. It comes as Vladimir Putin has demanded Ukraine surrender the eastern Donetsk and Luhansk provinces as one condition for ending the war. The Russian leader told Donald Trump that he would be prepared to stop fighting on the rest of the frontline if Ukraine gave in to the demand.
The concessions were discussed at the summit of the two leaders in Alaska on Friday, ended with no peace deal despite nearly three hours of talks. Sources very close to meeting told The Independent the dramatic move appears to have been endorsed by Mr Trump as a means to bring an end to the war. Meanwhile, Sir Keir Starmer will speak to western allies on Sunday ahead of Volodymyr Zelensky’s White House meeting with Donald Trump, likely on 18/08/2025.

Here, the Azov army corps has taken up full operational control over stabilizing the Russian breakthrough at Pokrovsk. With the situation reaching critical levels and threatening to overturn a year of Ukraine’s fortification work, Azov and its battalions are immediately getting to work on smashing the Russian salient back across the river. As Russians took Ukrainians by surprise, they broke through 18 Km deep behind the Ukrainian front line and penetrated through Ukraine’s new Donbas defense line while it was unmanned. However, as the reality of the situation got through to the Ukrainian high command, they acted quickly and redeployed Ukraine’s 1st national guard army corps, led by the famed Azov brigade at its head. The Russian salient is deep but narrow, enough so that it could be pincered, cut off from reinforcements, and destroyed if the Azov corps was up to the task.
The recently redeployed forces immediately got to work, as the first step was to prevent the Russians from expanding their salient, allowing them to entrench and threaten Ukrainian logistics further on an ops scale. Open source military analysts show that the 1st Da Vinci assault regiment attacked the Russian breakthrough head-on, and during the first day of clashes, they were able to blunt the spearhead and push the Russians back to Zolotyi Kolodiaz. Recent reports from various Russian, Ukrainian, and Western military analysts now show that they conducted a follow-up ops the next day, & pushed Russians out of settlement & are overrunning Russian positions up to 4 kilometers below; recapturing the New Donbas Defense line in the process.
Further south along the thin Russian salient, elements of the Azov brigade launched rapid counterattacks on the Russians’ left flank, as the 93rd mechanized brigade assaulted the Russians from the east. Satellite data shows numerous impact craters of Russian aviation glide bombs all over both sides of the salient, the locations of which indicate the Ukrainian attack was very successful and resulted in the capture of Kutuzivka, with prominent Russian and Ukrainian sources noting Ukrainians have fully encircled the Russians in two separate pockets.
Possibly realizing their goals were becoming too ambitious, Russians attempted an offshoot maneuver between Rodynske and Bilytske, hoping to at least achieve an ops encirclement of Pokrovsk as their larger breakthrough was faltering. However, Azov quickly responded to this maneuver as well, rapidly cutting off the Russian axis of advance and eliminating dozens of Russian soldiers. Command Azov units reports in past several days of fighting, 1st Army Corps eliminated 271 soldiers, wounded over 101, has taken 13 Russian men as prisoners of war. Geolocated footage shows Ukrainian drones dropping grenades on Russian soldiers in fields & captured Ukrainian-made fortifications, fiber optic FPV’s eliminating Russians in houses & around settlements, & four young Russian men having been taken prisoner after immediately surrendering to Ukrainian forces once the counterattacks commenced.Notably, while Russians have crossed the Kazenyi Torets River, they did not take control of any major river crossings or a particularly wide base to transfer manpower and logistics over. Therefore, Russian sources report that Ukraine’s highly mobile drone detachments have now focused their fire on the base of the Russian salient at the river. Russian analysts note they have completely lost control over this area, as Ukrainians have now officially and effectively cut off the Russian breakthrough through drone fire control, without having to expend any manpower to conduct a physical counterattack. Notably, Ukrainians were then able to physically move into Nykanorivka and Nove Sakhove, with the rest of the area being returned to the grey zone and under tight Ukrainian drone control.
Overall, Ukrainians have curbed the immediate threat of the Russian Dobropillia breakthrough and completed the encirclement of an estimated 800 Russian soldiers, hundreds of whom have already been eliminated in the fighting of the past few days. The Azov army corps' decisive actions have been highly successful, blunting the Russian spearhead, pushing Russian forces away from critical supply lines, dismantling additional attempts to branch out, encircling Russians in several pockets with little cover to hide, and most importantly, clearing Russians out of the New Donbas Defense line; eliminating the operational-level threat posed by the Russian salient only days earlier. Now, Ukrainians are poised to finish the job, to completely destroy what remains of the already brutalized Russian soldiers.

North Korea already exported a wide range of vehicles to Russia, including ballistic missile launch vehicles, anti-tank vehicles, air defence systems, and BTR-80s. The Chonma-2, represent a marked escalation by Korean People’s Army’s involvement, will the Ukraine send a few into North Korea in this wider theatre. North Korea did exported main battle tanks in past, including for use in Iran-Iraq War, deployment of locally built tanks alongside their crews is unprecedented development. Budanov noted would provide Korean People’s Army with experience in large-scale modern warfare, stressing only 3 countries currently possess such ops knowledge on an extended frontline & in a conflict that mobilised almost all available military means, namely Russia, will Ukraine send few or some in to infiltrate on North Korea first to collect more info..
North Korea is the only country to send more weapons & also an army to war on Ukraine, this is like going into a wider WW3 coming around year 2029 toward year 2032. Watch below for info.
A stepping stone to a full blown Global Conflict...WW3.

The recently redeployed forces immediately got to work, as first step was to prevent Russians expanding their salient, not allowing them to entrench threaten Ukrainian logistics further on an ops scale.
Further south a thin Russian salient, elements of Azov brigade launched rapid counterattacks on Russians left flank, as 93rd mechanized brigade assaulted the Russians from the east. Satellite data shows numerous impact craters of Russian aviation glide bombs all over both sides of the salient, locations of which indicate the Ukrainian attack was very successful
resulted in capture of Kutuzivka, with prominent Russian, Ukrainian sources noting Ukrainians fully encircled the Russians in two separate pockets.
Geolocated footage shows Ukrainian drones dropping grenades on Russian soldiers in fields & captured Ukrainian-made fortifications, fiber optic FPV’s eliminating Russians in houses & around settlements, & four young Russian men having been taken prisoner after immediately surrendering to Ukrainian forces once the counterattacks commenced. Notably, the Russians have crossed the Kazenyi Torets River, but did not take control of any major river crossings or a particularly wide base to transfer manpower & logistics over. Therefore, Russian sources reported that Ukraine’s highly mobile drone detachments have now focused their fire on the base of the Russian salient at the river. Russian analysts noted they completely lost control over such area, now Ukrainians officially & effectively has cut off the Russian breakthrough through drone fire control, without the next to expand any manpower to conduct a physical counterattack. Noted, Ukrainians were able physically move to Nykanorivka & Nove Sakhove, with rest of the area being returned to the grey zone under tight Ukrainian drone control.
Overall, Ukrainians have curbed the immediate threat of the Russian Dobropillia breakthrough, & completed the encirclement of an estimated 800 Russian soldiers, hundreds of whom have already been eliminated in the fighting of the past few days.
The Azov army corps has taken up full operational control over stabilizing the Russian breakthrough at Pokrovsk. With situation reaching critical levels and threatening to overturn year of Ukraine’s fortification work, Azov w/other brigade
immediately getting to work hit on smashing Russian salient back across the river. As Russians took Ukrainians by surprise, they broke through 18 Km deep behind Ukrainian front line & penetrated through Ukraine’s Donbas defense line while it was unmanned. However, as the reality of situation got through to the Ukrainian high command, they acted quickly & redeployed Ukraine’s the 1st national guard army corps, led by the famed Azov brigade at its head. The Russian salient is deep but narrow, enough that it could be pincered, cut off from reinforcements, & destroyed if the Azov corps was up to the task. Ukraine
is gaining momentum in countering Russia on multiple fronts for now.

Top of agenda, President Volodymyr Zelensky is not here for summit, fears sparking in Kyiv & Europe, Putin / Trump might strike some deal unfavorable to Ukraine. I'm (me again saying) asking it a use-less & nothing worth to mention.
It remains a Trump-Putin summit. Here the German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said a meeting between Vladimir Putin & Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not taking place within the next two weeks. Rotfl
Merz made the comments after he, along with other European leaders, met with US President Donald Trump at White House for talks aimed at ending war in Ukraine. Trump
spoken to Putin on phone, agreed that there would be a meeting between Putin & w/Ukrainian president within 2 week. But German chancellor Merz said location yet to be determined!.
Now. Putin is very fearful of him, refering to President Volodymyr Zelensky for now,😀🤐🤔

Here, I see Putin play ball only.
See & watch how Kremlin plays Trump and also play down Zelensky talks as Trump warns Putin only have two weeks for Putin to play ball only. >May want to make him, (refering to Trump) to wait and wait for him for month and even year to talk about PEACE TALK. (refering to Putin) to 'want to make some kind of deal' to this peace talk between the Russia and Ukraine.

"Ukraine's Defense Ministry & local arms producers told Berlin who agreed to fund or join venture to produce weapons in Ukraine this 2nd half year, 2025." The need to produce weapons that can reach far into depth of Russian federation,
b'cos Germany is not supplying more of their own latest weapons to Ukraine.
So Ukraine is developing a number of Ukraine's long-range capabilities, including ballistic missiles, long-range drones & drone-missile hybrids to strike deep inside into Russian rear amid dwindling stockpiles of Western long-range weapons. Yes Ukrainian is now more capabilities, include ballistic missiles, long-range drones can strike deep inside the Russian rear amid dwindling stockpiles of Western long-range weapons.
all this is what is Germany is offering to Ukraine army in order to protect Europe. See what once Germany during WW2 is the original master of their own weapons who now U.S., old Russia and even UK try to copy them, only U.S., now China is watching up very fast, while Russia is way behind.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Berlin would help Ukraine and to pro- finance production & procurement of Ukrainian-made long-range weapons systems. Hemade comments during a joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Berlin, where he also announced support for continuing Starlink satellite ops for Ukraine. "There will be no restrictions on long-range weapons," Merz said "Ukraine will be able to fully defend itself and also strike real military targets outside the territory of Ukraine." Ukraine'll begin receiving hundreds of domestically produced long-range weapon systems by end of July under a German-financed agreement, German Major General Christian Freuding told the German ZDF news channel on July 11.

Ukrainian military has previously received the Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles from U.K. & France & ATACMS from U.S., but Germany so far refused to supply its own Taurus cruise missiles.
