Shareholders want only profits. It is the Management staff who will suffer in the long run just like Singtel.

it is only for beginning for buyer. results will have to wait if buyer can took over smoothly. value add to the buy. not an easy road as inflation has caused demand for wage increase everywhere. not road block. just difficulties they have to manage.

The deal certainly makes strategic sense. The question is whether SATS has a big enough stomach to swallow WFS.

Very risky. The workers in Europe and USA can go on strike to demand higher wages.

The freight rates were at their peak previously. SATS, like others in the same industry, probably earn quite a lot during this peak. The rates had gone downhill recently.

96% an be confident and wrong.
The acquired company is full of debt.
Labor is unionised and can strike to higher pay.
They are dependent on competitive contracts have have to be renewed.
The previous owners gladly let it go.

American companies are growth by sales or market shares. They don't mention the profitability of the company.

Be glad and appreciative that none of our children works in SATS or Singtel.
