There isn’t one. What is going on is the Russians, the Ukrainians in and they are squeezing the sh!t out of them.

As commented before, if the Russian and Wagner fighters reports were accurate, Ukraine would have hundreds of soldiers moving to Bakhmut. On Wednesday, Ukrainian forces continued to inflict heaviest in direction of Bakhmut, which is located in south of the Donbas, and along the Kreminna-Svatove line in the east.

A Moscow court on Thursday again fined Wikipedia for a Russian-language article it refused to remove about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the latest in a series of Putin government moves to silence reporting or criticism of the war and restrict the Russian public’s access to information.

Putin court fined Wikimedia Foundation, the nonprofit that runs the free, publicly-edited online encyclopedia, a 2 million rubles ($24,464) for not removing a Wikipedia article titled “Russian occupation of the Zaporizhzhia region,” a reference to one of four Ukrainian provinces that Russia annexed last September. Most countries have condemned the annexation, as well as that by Russia in 2014 of Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula, as illegal.

US Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Friday.

“Unlike Ukrainian forces, who are motivated to fight for their country, to fight for their freedom, their democracy, and their way of life, the Russians or Putin lack in leadership, they lack the morale, is poor, and discipline is eroding,” Milley said in Germany alongside Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin at the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting.

Milley said Russia is “expending significant manpower for very little gain,” and tightening its conscription laws as “indiscriminately feed their citizens into the chaos of war.”

Over past year, Russia's temporary territorial gains have come with enormous losses.

Hundreds of thousands of Russians have fled their country with addition casualties,” he said.

The primary goal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will be to advance in the south, in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson sectors, where Ukraine has reasonable chances for success, but not for an overwhelming and decisive victory, analysts generally agreed.

The counteroffensive’s main objectives will be destroying Russian combat formations and, even more important, liberating occupied territory and reaching positions from which Ukrainian long-range, precision-guided weapons could strike Russian military targets across Crimea, the Black Sea peninsula.

“Crimea is decisive in this war,” US Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Ben Hodges told Kyiv Post in an interview. “The Ukrainians will try to get to a point where they can isolate the Crimea and make it militarily untenable.”

Aside from a main southern assault, the Ukrainians will almost certainly launch supporting attacks in other sectors, in part in an attempt to keep Russian military planners off balance.

Ukraine needs far more military support to defeat Russia this year, foreign ministry official says

Ukraine needs to receive significantly more military support than allies have provided so far in order “to finish Russian aggression this year," Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Melnyk said.

"We are thankful to our allies for all their military help. It is not enough. Ukraine needs x10 times more to finish Russian aggression this year,"

(Let see how far this war can go)  Thinking

What Ukraine has received from allies: Modern battle tanks are among the key contributions to Ukraine by Western allies, with Ukrainian forces set to begin training on how to operate Abrams tanks next month.

The coalition's $55 billion in security assistance has included “more than 230 tanks and more than 1,550 armored vehicles and other equipment and munitions,” according to Austin.
