Fighting Flares as Chin Rebels Launch Fresh Offensive. Fighting has flared up in Falam and Mindat towns in Chin State as the Myanmar military regime deploys warplanes, drones, and artillery to repel offensives by the anti-junta Chin Brotherhood Alliance (CBA). Alliance launched Op Chin Brotherhood on Nov. 9 with simultaneous attacks on junta positions in 2 remote mountain towns, fighting has since intensified, said alliance spokesman Salai Yaw Marn.“ Regime is using excessive air raids to defend its positions,” he said. “Junta troops from Laung Shae & Kale deployed multiple rocket launchers & trying desperately to defend towns.”

“Allies” taking part in offensives but don't specify them, previous ops was joined by troops from Rakhine State’s Arakan Army & Magwe Region’s Yaw Army, alliance itself consists of Zomi Federal Union, Chin National Organization, Mindat Chin Nat Council, Maraland & Kampelet Chin Defense Forces (CDF), & Matupi CDF Brigade 1.

In Mindat, regime troops torched houses in several parts of town including near the police station, according to CBA. “Fighting has been going on daily in Mindat & Falam over past 5 days, spokesman said. “Regime carried out daily air raids using jets, drones, and Y-12 / Y-8 aircraft. It’s carried out 2 or 3 arson attacks per day & several houses were burnt in each attack.”

The rebels shd derives ways of shooting down those fighters jets. Hope they hv the land to air weapons to do it.
