Houthis Attack Giant Power Station In Haifa, Mock Israel's Defence Systems

The Houthis have intensified their attacks on Israel, expanding their offensive after targeting Tel Aviv and Talmei Elazar. In the latest strike, Yemen’s Ansar Allah fighters, also known as the Houthis, claimed success in hitting Haifa, specifically targeting the Orot Rabin Power Station south of the city. On January 5, they fired a ballistic missile at northern Israel, claiming it accurately hit its target. The Houthis also asserted that the missile bypassed Israel’s defence systems, mocking Israel's interception capabilities. This marks the second "successful operation" claimed by the Houthis on the first Sunday of 2025.
