Russia wil be doomed too. NATO as well as US wil never let Russia go scott-free. It needs a pre-emptive strike on Russia, with preparedness of long range weapons too.

Everyone will be doomed. But the West will be doomed twice. 

Once, after it launched a preemptive strike using nuclear tipped missiles deployed in Europe near Russia (the West thinks that by inching Nato closer to Russia, it can beat Russian nukes first before they can be launched in counterstrike). Do you now see why Russia is hellbent on preventing Nato expansion to its doorsteps? 

Twice, after it has been obliterated by Russian counterstrike in the first wave, when everyone is dead, the Russian Perimeter/Dead Hand will come to life & auto-launch a second wave onto Europe. 

By the way it is the USA that withdrew from the Anti Ballistic Missile Treaty & the Intermediate Range Nuclear Force Treaty meant to curb the nuclear arms race. 

And, it is the USA that supplied & approved ATACMS missiles & targeting data to be used by Ukraine against Moscow, prompting Russia to lower its nuclear threshold. In other words, the USA attacked Russia, using Ukrainian fingers to pull the trigger.
