You don't get the point.

The reality is , in this world today, only 3 countries are truly independent and sovereign. In other words, only these 3 countries are qualified to sit at adult dining table. Iran is not one of the 3!

So, Iran got to be wise not to be played into the hands of Assmerica.

China is very different. It doesn't need USA for anything. On the contrary, Assmerica needs some important metals, etc from China for their military industry, space technology, etc. etc.

Put it simply, China is too "big" for Assmerica to go for war with.

"China dont need USA for anything" is oblivious to the fact that USA is China's numero uno export destination for its products without which there will be millions of hungry mouths to feed in China.

As for "China is too big for Assmerica to go to war with", thats a psychological coping mechanism to deal with the scary reality that the hegemony in the US will eventually attack China. And that is why China is building up defences because it takes the threat of war very seriously & its very afraid of war reaching its shores. Otherwise why bother. 

China is also heavily reliant on the Russians to protect its western flank. The thought of Putin's Russia cosying up to Trump's Assmerica gives China a cold sweat. And China also rely on Russia to help it develop a missile early warning system for incoming Assmerican ICBM. 

So, China is not quite the adult yet to sit on the same dining table as long as it has all these dependencies. 

And when US attack Iran, China may be forced for its own survival to collaborate with Iran to stop Assmerica at its track.
