Like drug addict know it is bad for them but cannot stop.

For a period I was at the casinos and knew the habitual gamblers who were addicted. The destruction to own life and family is terrible. I remember just before govt approved casino one man with severe gambling addiction killed his own family. He relapsed for the 3rd time despite help from church and support from family. A few days later the govt approved the casinos. The casinos were opposed by many churches who had seen the devastation of gambling addiction but their appeal to govt was ignored as it was more important to grow economy and bring in foreigners for the jobs. Recently Japan govt decided to ditch the casinos after seeing what happened in Singapore


Addiction problems are like cancer and medical disease but sometimes even worse effects.

People should be more open to seek help than try to cope with it until it destroys you like Wang Lee Hom ...its too late.

Worst thing to do is hide it or pretend you don't have a problem or deny you have a problem.
