By raising the retirement age to 64 will encourage more seniors and elderly to stay working and hopefully, will reduce the numbers of elderly dying alone in HDBs.

Its ok if they were died in the office.

What's the problem with government raising the retirement age to 65 .... 70. 
Its not that its mandatory to continue working when you reached 65. You can retire if u want to. By raising the retirement the government is making it possible for u to continue working in your company until 70. The company cannot retire you unless they have good reasons eg. poor work performance.
