There are too many malaysians migrants in Singapore. In year 2022 the Malaysia's former Human Resources Minister V Sivakumar openly stated that 1.13 million malaysians migrated to Singapore. This means there are 1.13 million Singaporeans citizens and permanent residents that are former Malaysians born in Malaysia.
This number is very shocking because Singapore's total numbers of Singaporean citizens and permanent residents are only 4 million plus people only, and yet out of this 4 million plus Singaporean citizens and permanent residents, 1.13 million are former Malaysians that migrated to Singapore.

Is not good to have a too large percentage of 马来西亚华人 among the Singaporean citizens population. Because many many of these 马来西亚华人 they have much stronger feelings towards their own 马来西亚华人than to 新加坡华人.。

One very good example to prove the above point is I find that those 马来西亚华人 when they are renting out their hdb flats or rooms, they insist on renting out their flats and rooms to only strictly 马来西亚华人tenants only and many of these former Malaysians totally refused to rent their HDB flats and rooms to 新加坡华人。I last time work 8 years housing rental agent and often I have 新加坡华人tenants either they just sold their house or they waiting for their BTO flats etc but when I told these malaysians new citizens flatowners, many of these 马来西亚华人屋主refuse to rent their flats or rooms to 新加坡华人 and they insist on renting to strictly only 马来西亚华人 tenants only.
