From what I have seen in the reports, the Iranians are able to quickly recover after absorbing punches from Israeli strikes

The whole military command taken out?
They just replaced it

Air defence destroyed?
Repaired & returned to work in a few hours

If Israel cannot capitalise on the successes of its initial air blitz within the next 48 hours, they will be looking at catastrophic failure & returning home to their devastated cities
