SG already ban SGrean and Malaysians-with-PR from using MY-plates in SG.
IMO, this is the smartest move after the 3/4 tank rule for SG vehicles.


Problem is we don't know those "luxury" SG vehicle's owner/driver is PR or SC.  Maybe that is what VEP is for. 

So I find this Topic's heading rather funni since the RFID tagging is for non-MY vehicles, not non-MY drivers.  

Most are PR. Some are new Citizens. 

Single Malaysian will want to be PR, enjoy Singapore Citizens job status. Buy resale hdb.
Retain Malaysian citizenship benefits for cheap cost of living. 

Married Malaysian will go for one spouse be Singapore citizen and the other one to be PR. Buy hdb BTO. Best of both worlds. 

There are 1 million of them in Singapore, 30% own Singapore car will flood the Causeway..🤭
