PAP said GST for 3 reasons-

1. Skills Future
Which is not needed because only jobs can build skills

2. For the poor 
Use FWs levy can also help the poor

3. Healthcare Cost
Not needed because Gan KY already raise our premiums

So, this GST is OVER- lapping 

so that PAP collects more money

Not enuf competition import FTs to compete with locals
Poor have to rely on gst subsidies to help them with hike
