That is not a fair comparison. At the time of Pelosi's landing here, her official itinerary did not include Taiwan. It would be very inappropriate of Singapore to give her the cold shoulder just based on mere speculation.

If we had concrete confirmation she was visiting Taiwan while here, my best guess is LHL will still meet her but put on record in a stronger but diplomatically polite tone that we disagree and vigorously urge her to reconsider her decision.
