What China is doing is to have more trade pacts like 1B1R, SCO, RCEP, BRIC, EU-China agreement, CPTPP, etc.

But US is to build more alliance for military confrontation such as 5-Eye alliance, Nato, now 3-Eye alliance Aukus, QUAD, Pacific-Indian alliance.

One is for co-prosperity and the other is for military fight. You can see the difference?
