why vaccines cannot protect people above 80 ?

can we have vaccines that can protect people above 80 ?

Vaccines cannot protect even a 30 year old fully.  It is only 95% efficacious, and it gets lower if you take Sinovac.

We all wish there is a silver bullet which can immunize us 100% once and for all time, regardless of whether you are 1 year old or 101 years old.  Unfortunately for the whole of humanity and not just PAP supporters or oppies who are trying to stir, c19 is something the world had never seen before.  Unless anyone here works/worked in healthcare, nobody at this forum had ever worn a mask for this many months in all his life. 

This is how serious this pandemic is.

The government, our government, is working within the limits of known science.  Anything more that you want, you have to say a prayer to the right God.
