WORLD: Last year, North Korea conducted a record number of at least 95 (recorded) missile tests. Why are we paying so little attention to this?

Andrei Lankov: The US is distracted - by China, the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine and by national problems. You could describe it like this: China is a cancer disease – dangerous and deadly in the long term. Russia and Ukraine are toothaches - very painful, but not life-threatening. The US doesn't have time to think about North Korea. But even if they did, they couldn't do much about the current situation.
