what do you mean different issue ? its pure super power contest, dont tell me if one day let say MY becomes a super power ..it does not have any ambitions ??? it will just sit quietly ... and being told what to do?

Do you think the people of Taiwan after experiecing democracy for decades will be stupid enough to give up on all their rights and be subjects of a autocratic ruler? you think they cannot change the constitution?  they have been assured freedom and 0 threats as long as they dont declare indepence. ..they have kept their end of the bargain , so if China changes the status quo.. all bets are off

Taiwan's constitution is that if ROC which states clearly ROC's territory.
