In the not-too-distant past, thieves would steal from the rich. They would try to break into a rich man's house to steal. They didn't go to kampungs to steal from the poor.
Today, a bank account, a telephone number is just that. You use AI to scan these numbers for victims. The owner of these numbers may not be in Singapore's Who's Who of the top one hundred richest men and women.
When you scam, you might cause undue suffering to someone who is poor or of no big means to be scammed.
Of all people this scammer targeted, he/she targeted a young woman......she's only 38.....who unfortunately......damned suay I must say..........had a stroke which left half of her body paralyzed and unable to work. I feel for her.
