For now drones were being assembled in the country mainly from foreign components, but plans were on the agenda to produce components in Ukraine. At same time Reznikov says, there was no intention to "build a factory the size of a stadium."
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis said Ukrainian govt had allocated almost $1.1 billion this July-2023 to production UAVs. Added that Ukraine authorities had removed customs barriers to importing drone parts into Ukraine, raising profit share for manufacturers to 25%, and made a decision to "promotes mass production of drone ammunition."
