This is only a guess, that God is the first cause. Since it cannot be proven, it can only be a belief. I prefer to believe that there is a universal intelligence, a force but not a personal God like in religions, that is the first cause.

This universal intelligence (some call God) is neither kind nor cruel. It doesn't care for you like your parents.
