U.S. President Joe Biden said he would be sending an “urgent” funding request to Congress on Friday for military aid to support both Ukraine and Israel in their respective war efforts.

Biden late on Thursday made a rare White House speech in which he claimed both Hamas and Russia “want to annihilate a neighboring democracy,” and vowed to send an “urgent” request to Congress for additional funding to both Ukraine and Israel to aid their respective military efforts.
