The strange thing about this fire is that the PAB is not being charged. It has not been charged for 2 days and yet it still caught fire.

This proves that it is dangerous to park you power assisted bicycle in doors. Fire can start any time, and if nobody is around then the whole house may catch fire. Electrical fires are harder to deal than common fires.....
