Last time whenever there is a hole in my shirt or pants or if I need to alter the length I would ask my mother to do it 

As she got older her eye sight became poor so I stopped asking her. I would pay my neighbors maid $5 to alter my pants. She has one of those Singer machines take one minute settle. 

Last week she left for home. I discovered a hole in my pocket and coins would fall out. 

With no one to sew and patch, I thought I better learn this skill otherwise I would have to through away cloths once they have holes.

I searched for solutions and found this. It is better that sewing and started to experiment with it. 

First I fixed the hole in my pocket.....it worked.

Then I altered one of my pants.....that also worked...and looks nicer than if it was sewed

The method I used is called fabric gluing.
