Junta troops & pro-regime militias abruptly withdraw from Sagaing bases. Resistance forces said they had not forced armed militia members & soldiers out of the bases by attacking them, & speculated they relocated due to the regime’s failure to deliver supplies. Resistance forces claim to have taken hold of 3 junta outposts in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region on Sunday after junta troops and pro-junta militia forces manning the outposts withdrew without warning.
Sources in anti-junta resistance said, soldiers & members of Pyu Saw Htee militias armed trained by military in various parts of Myanmar— try to reportedly relocated to other bases from their outposts in Myin See, Sin Inn, and Ku Toet Seik villages, all 17 miles or less from Shwebo Township’s urban centre. Troops and Pyu Saw Htee members reportedly brought their families with them in the move to Zee Phyu Kone village, the location of another base.
