KNU: Myanmar Junta Conscripts Kill Guards and Escape. Karen National Union says 29 migrants who were handed back by Thai authorities and conscripted have escaped to liberated territory.

The AA chief explains how ethnic army’s political wing is gradually reasserting administrative control over its homeland, Rakhine State, while coordinating with revolutionary groups nationwide to replace junta rule with civilian confederation. 

Aung Zaw: Resistance groups are steadily gaining control in Kayah (Karenni) Karen states, with notable exception of Loikaw. Groups are beginning to provide effective local governance, justice, healthcare & education for communities they serve. External organizations is increasingly offering support efforts. Likewise, in Rakhine, the Arakan Army is expanding its jurisdiction over territory & local population, these developments, how are you addressing challenges related to governance, justice, healthcare, and education in regions you control?
