The 17-year-old S'porean supporter of terror group ISIS planned to kill non-Muslims in Tampines during the September school holidays with a pair of scissors. When the police arrested him, did they also find paper and stone in his possession?

Terrorists do not need an excuse to attack "infidels". They believe that they have been commanded to.

Sunni and Shia are killing each other. Technically, only one got the support of Allah right. Allah can't be supporting both to kill each other.

At 17, his greatest source of influence and encouragement have to be his parents.

They need rehabilitation as well.

Perhaps his parents taught him how to play "scissors, paper, stone", but he only remembered the part about the scissors.

Instead of using bombs, guns or knives, use scissors, paper and stone.

That's the extent to which they're prepared to go to secure 72 virgins and an eternal erection in paradise.

In fact, the paper cut is the most annoying since it is on the finger which I have to use daily and it is usually difficult to put a plaster there.

These men will go crazy after they find out that their "reward" is actually a 72-year-old virgin.

Online terrorism is even more dangerous as it could have sparked racial riots between Chinese, Indians and Malays in SG.

Parents have a major role to play. As a child , teaching them from the basic that differentiates what is right or wrong. The morality starts henceforth.

"Resurrecting the caliphate" refers to the idea of reviving or restoring a caliphate, which is a form of Islamic government led by a caliph, who is considered a religious and political leader. Historically, caliphates were established after the death of the Prophet Muhammad in the 7th century and lasted in various forms until the early 20th century.

The term often comes up in discussions about political movements that seek to establish a state governed by Islamic law (Sharia) and emphasize a unified Muslim community (Ummah) under a single leader. Groups like ISIS, for example, have used the concept of the caliphate to justify their actions and rally support, claiming to establish a new caliphate in parts of Iraq and Syria.

Resurrecting the caliphate can evoke strong emotions and differing opinions. For some, it symbolizes a return to a historical ideal of Islamic governance, while for others, it raises concerns about extremism, sectarianism, and the implications for global security and human rights.
