I don't think he harbours any hatred of Christendom. If anything, he is as sure as hell the central tenets of Christianity - such as Divinity of Christ and the Holy Trinity - are fallacious. Hence, he has been relentlessly posing one question after another apropos of those core beliefs. His unorthodox views obviously displeased believers who have an unquestioning belief in these timeless truths and would not budge an inch.

You can't argue with him. His mind is closed. But I'll give him an A for effort. You need to be fearless and thick-skinned like him to go against the grain and preach dangerous heresies. His dogged determination and persistence is second to none, and it'd made Christian debaters elsewhere tear their hair out and drop out of active participation one by one. Quite many Christians, particularly evangelical Christians, are mightily bubbly about propagating their faith. Ever wondered why they would want to go to the bother of pushing their religion, copping all the hassle, being snubbed or persecuted for their beliefs. Persuading others to accept your religious beliefs isn't a very popular job. Wouldn't it be better to practice your faith in peace and quiet, just as devotees of other faiths are wont to do.

There must be something behind these Christians' high level of motivation that has propelled them into gospel work. Zeal, as we know, is a power motivator of behaviour, but it isn't enough to drive one to such extraordinary lengths as to want to set out to evangelize the world. It has to be a spiritual awakening that provides the major impetus.

A friend of mine found religion in prison where he was serving time for doing drug. His life was turned upside down in consequence of his numerous wrongdoings. Life appeared to have lost all meaning and with his confidence at a low ebb, he turned to Christ in desperation. That proved to be the wisest move of his entire life.

Shortly after his release from prison, his life took a dramatic turn. The former low life reinvented himself as a responsible family man, and later went on to take the helm of a halfway house for erstwhile druggies and convicts, undertaking pastoral work in addition.

A characteristic of a blessed Christian's psyche is to look for opportunities to share with others God's love and abundant blessings for those seeking Him out with their whole being.

That would be like eating at a French restaurant, ordering a chateaubriand, and asking the waiter for a Coke instead of wine.  Or even worse, Chinese tea!

If I order Seafood 生面 at a zichar stall, I would not be very happy if the cook sprinkles cheese powder on or stirs tomato ketchup into my noodles either.
