There is a common joke out there that the Taiwanese army comprises of three kinds of people: 1) CIA operatives, 2) PLA operatives and 3) local strawberries. Between them, all are having a great time.

That is why despite all the rumors I never believed for a second the US would sell any advanced weaponry to Taiwan. Doing that is akin to sending samples to PLA for inspection.

It means they are not worried about PLA invasion, they have mahjong to protect Taiwan Rotfl

It is not their fault as the people on top has no plan to fight PLA, these solders have nothing to do feel bored so play mahjong lor.

Not wrong if they were not gambling or playing while on duty. Conscripts and NSFs are also people who need rest and recreation.

In Sg, gambling in camp is a chargeable offence.
During ICT, I think CO or OC will remind.
