Did Jesus really dies for you???

(02-04-2024, 06:59 AM)Ali Imran Wrote:  Where you are wrong is clear. You worship God alongside others. You broke the very first commandment. Remember, Jesus didn't teach anybody to pray to a triune god. As a matter of fact, he taught people to pray DIRECTLY to the one true God.

I see no contradiction in worshipping a Triune God. God is one with the Holy Spirit and Jesus and vice versa. It is true Jesus taught his disciples to pray to God, the Father, while he was still with them physically. It is also true he later appeared to his disciples after his resurrection and relayed his own intentions to them, unlike the angels who would relay God's intentions to the prophets, ie Jesus is speaking as a part of God, just like the Holy Spirit is of God.
Jesus is still appearing to many prophets even to this very day with instuctions to pray the apostles creed that acknowledges the Triune. Remember the Bible, and I'm talking about the teachings, not some ancient skin/papyrus with ink, is the living Word of God, it doesn't "end" with the last page.

Did Jesus claim anywhere his religion is Christianity?

You are right.

Without Christ's Death, Christianity will just be a religion that calls Jesus a prophet, perhaps a very good man, and we will have to strive damn hard for our salvation, and fail anyway.

Did Muhammade call his religion Islam?

Did Muhammade call his religion Islam?

Yes. Islam means submission to oneness of God.His teachings was calling people to submit to God.Quran confirm Islam as the religion

Quran 3;85 “If anyone seeks a religion other than [islam] complete devotion to God, it will not be accepted from him: he will be one of the losers in the Hereafter”

Quran 3:102 “O you who believe[d]! Fear Allah (as is His) right (that) He (should) be feared and (do) not die except [while you] (as) Muslims”

Quran 2;132 “This was the advice of Abraham—as well as Jacob—to his children, ˹saying˺, “Indeed, Allah has chosen for you this faith; so do not die except in ˹a state of full˺ submission.”

Quran 5;3 “Forbidden to you are carrion, blood, and swine; what is slaughtered in the name of any other than Allah; what is killed by strangling, beating, a fall, or by being gored to death; what is partly eaten by a predator unless you slaughter it; and what is sacrificed on altars. You are also forbidden to draw lots for decisions.1 This is all evil. Today the disbelievers have given up all hope of ˹undermining˺ your faith. So do not fear them; fear Me! Today I have perfected your faith for you, completed My favour upon you, and chosen Islam as your way. But whoever is compelled by extreme hunger—not intending to sin—then surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

After attending a funeral , He began showing signs of sickness , intense headaches and fever. It lasted about two weeks.Despite his sickness he led congregations prayers for 11 days.
I know you wanted me to accept he was poisoned as Christian claimed.
It is not the case. God want him to die he died. Long before his sickness revelations of Quran completed. He performed his Haj pilgrimage and also delivered his famous final message . His mission was over.

Last Sermon of Prophet Muhammad PBUH

Date delivered: 632 A.C., 9th day of Dhul al Hijjah, 10 A.H.
in the ‘Uranah valley of Mount Arafat, Saudi Arabia
After praising, and thanking God, he said: “O People, listen well to my words, for I do not know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.
O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Treat others justly so that no one would be unjust to you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury (riba), therefore all riba obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer inequity. God has judged that there shall be no riba and that all the riba due to `Abbas ibn `Abd al Muttalib shall henceforth be waived.
Every right arising out of homicide in pre-Islamic days is henceforth waived and the first such right that I waive is that arising from the murder of Rabi`ah ibn al Harith ibn `Abd al Muttalib.
O Men, the Unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which God forbade, and to forbid that which God has made permissible. With God the months are twelve in number. Four of them are sacred, three of these are successive and one occurs singly between the months of Jumada and Sha`ban. Beware of the devil, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.
O People, it is true that you have certain rights over your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under God’s trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Treat your women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. It is your right and they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste…
O People, listen to me in earnest, worship God (The One Creator of the Universe), perform your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your financial obligation (zakah) of your wealth. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.
All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.
Remember, one day you will appear before God (The Creator) and you will answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.
O People, NO PROPHET OR MESSENGER WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I am leaving you with the Book of God (the QUR’AN*) and my SUNNAH (the life style and the behavioural mode of the Prophet), if you follow them you will never go astray.
All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people.

As per Islam, God created humans and sent messenger and Prophets to guide the humanity. He also revealed commandments, laws and books through those messengers.

Islam is old as first human Adam.
Quran and Nation of Muhammad is 1400 years old.
Muhammad teaching was same as Jesus, Moses, Abraham and other messengers calling towards submission to oneness of God.Quran mentions 25 names of messengers. Hadith mentions there were over 120000 messengers since Adam was created.

Quran 16;36 “We did raise a messenger among every people, with the message: “Worship Allah and stay away from the Rebel (the Satan).” Then, there were some among them whom Allah guided, and there were others against whom deviation (from the right path) was established. So, travel on earth and see how was the fate of those who rejected (the prophets).”

All you know comes from only 1 source so it is your belief. Same as Christians.

That's why there is this conflict on the world between different religions.

Belief is not proof. You can argue all you want , it will never end.

Quran 23;12-14”Man We did create from a quintessence (of clay); then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest firmly fixed; then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then We made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then We developed out of it another creature: so blessed be Allah the Best to create!”

Even if Mohammad had a twin who had the same dream in the cave at the same time, their experiences would still be different.... they might recite the same verses, their interpretation of the verse would be different. Your understanding of the Koran will not be the same as your fellow muslims even if you use the same Koran.

Did Prophet Jesus bring an objective truth to the people?

Did Prophet Moses bring an objective truth to his people?

So too, did Prophet Muhammad.

All Muslims believe there is only 1 God with no partners. That is the result of the objective truth of the Quran. In contrast, reading the Bible will make people believe in many different things, resulting in many different denominations, with different beliefs.

No, thank you very much. As you say, stories.

I don't like fiction. I go for non fiction department.

I say again, it is your belief so be it. But a belief is subjective. That's why there are so many religions that divide the people. Religion, race, politics... all are divisive.

And once one religion imposes on another , you have conflicts. It is already manifesting here.

Sad sad world but what to do??

Did any of the disciples worship a triune God? The answer is no. Even St Paul did not worship a triune God. There is not a single personality in the entire Bible that worships a triune God.

Please step back a little and look at what I'm saying. Your most important doctrine is not found in the Bible, not taught by God or by any of the many messengers and prophets God sent to people as guidance.

Our thoughts are very much aligned. The problem with this world is that people are insisting that their beliefs are the only right ones, even when there is scant proof. I can easily throw out a few questions which none of them could give a satisfactory reply, other than, "we are mere peasants and can't understand the higher beings".

Having said that, it is still interesting to note that the manner in which responses are given in this thread shows very much the "quality" of the respondents. If they are as pious as they want to portray themselves, they should behave in a manner befitting that of a true religious follower.

Religion is what we do and faith is what we believe.

Islam is the ONLY knowledge-based religion meaning it is not a blind-faith religion.

Believing in a Creator is not blind faith. It is almost Newtonian.
