Disgrace to Singapore and Singaporean!!!!
Should be jail for 10 and above years in my opinion.

So all Singapore Minister and MP must remember the consequences for any curruption Or criminal act punishment. We don't vote them into parliament to play games. Our lives are at stack!

Minister for National Development Teh paid his life for it.
That's our standard and expectations.

That's the price for wanting to be a Singaporean Minister or MP.
It is not about his son, it is about Singaporean lives.

The judge was under pressure to make Iswaran look greedy, but not corrupt.

Exactly what I am thinking. In future, for such cases that resemble corruption or abuse of position, especially the executive branch, the law should include a holding period after serving the jail term, where he cannot leave the country for minimum 10 years to prove he has learned his lesson and turned over a new leaf and to show cause why he should leave the country and the court be held responsible if he run road while under such probation, if the court approved his travel.

This will definately put a stop to anyone thinking of gaming the system
