Possibly. But there's also a possibility that they will hire you hoping that their company will continue to attract you to stay. If you set your expectation too high (i.e. want a high post or high salary equivalent to the past) then you have no chance at all; they won't even consider your application.

That is why for such case during face to face interview what you say is very important you need to convey to the prospective employer you are not using them while looking for your horse.
