Rogozin, who serves as "senator" of occupied Zaporizhzhia referenced the need to destroy Ukrainian literature and history in his comments. He previously was the CEO of the state-run space corporation Roscosmos, a deputy PM  and the ambassador to NATO.

The previous day, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted three resolutions related to Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. One of the resolutions recognized the genocidal intent in destroying Ukraine's cultural heritage and identity.

The resolution condemned the systematic Russian policy of "Russification" in the occupied territories of Ukraine which started since its first invasion in 2014, including the denial of the Ukrainian language and history.

Russia's full-scale war has resulted in damage to 1,987 cultural facilities as of late April, according to Ukraine's Culture Ministry.

Several top Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin, former Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, and chief of the General Staff of the Russian army, Valery Gerasimov, have been issued arrest warrants from the International Criminal Court (ICC) for their roles in alleged crimes committed against Ukraine.

Announcement added “the intensity of flights by US strategic drones over Black Sea is increasing, which are reconnoitering & targeting precision weapons supplied to Armed Forces of Ukraine by Western countries to strike at Russian targets.”
Russian Defense says drone flights are provocative & claims that they “indicate the growing involvement of the US ' NATO countries in conflict in Ukraine on side of the Kyiv regime.”

Such flights once again increase the likelihood of incidents in the airspace with aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, which increases the risk of direct confrontation between the [NATO] Alliance and the Russian Federation,” the statement added.

Ukraine regains ground in Vovchansk as Russian progress stalls.

Ukrainian forces have regained positions in northern Kharkiv Oblast, advancing into the central part of the town of Vovchansk, according to the latest report from the U.S.-funded Institute for the Study of War (ISW), published on June 28.

A Ukrainian drone battalion commander operating in this front sector said that the situation in northern Kharkiv Oblast has stabilized and that Russian forces have not made any significant progress since June 12.

He also mentioned that the enemy is using both poorly trained assault units and regular Russian troops in the area, and is quickly replenishing its losses.

U.S.A. aid package includes high-mobility artillery rocket systems, or HIMARS, as well 155mm & 105mm high-demand artillery rounds & others equipment, according to officials. It follows a monthly gathering on about 50 defence leaders from Europe and elsewhere who meet regularly to co-ordinate getting more military aid to Ukraine.
