You only log-in once using the Singpass Pin after you accessed LIFE SG. After that, you don't need SingPass anymore when you scan pyt using NS200. I don't know what went wrong in yr APP.

Maybe you can try uninstalling and reinstalling yr apps. Once you login already just use the the apps scanner to pay. Maybe you scan the merchant wrong quotes.
If you have shopee account just top up yr wallet to make yr purchase.

Most consumers use cashless payment methods these days, so I also do not understand why so many SG Talkers are preoccupied with ways to convert the NS Life SG credits into cash. I used up all $200 yesterday on a pair of branded sports shoes. I informed the cashier that I wished to make payment via PayNow from my mobile phone. I proceeded to scan the shop's payment QR, entered the amount and slid to confirm payment to complete the transaction. It was so seamless.Ā

I agree with you 100%. I hardly carry any cash in my physical wallet these days because I utilise credit cards and PayNow at stores, restaurants, hawker centres, petrol stations, wet markets etc. It is so convenient and I don't have to worry about handling money and keeping loose change.
