importing people (and money) in has no benefits for the majority of the population other than having to suffer the overcrowding situation, skyrocketing cost of living, unfavourable employment market etc

This is the mess created by pinkonomics.
The idea of gradually raising prices of everything to boost fake growth numbers, and manipulating the S$ to create fake inflation numbers, and using FTs to create fake employment numbers, is making life miserable for the middle and lower class locals.
Their votes are dropping despite giving out chicken wings. It's time to ditch pap and rebuild SG.
