Uniqlo clothing is considered stylish even though most of their line is casual. Like I said earlier, one may look fashionable even when not wearing casual clothes.

The one piece dress has come back, and its fabric quality, floral pattern and cutting are even better than those of the 1970s. Yup, it's been half a century since wonen ditched that really nice one piece dress for jeans, pants and skirts, and tops which included blouses and T-shirts with Mickey Mouse prints.

And when they opened their mouth to talk, it wasn't Hokkien or Cantonese, sure giveaways that those now-boomers were sinkies but either Mandarin or Singlish which would leave no one in any doubt that they were the daughters of the former. In other words, our Singaporean women do dress very well. The cutting of the one piece dress accentuates the woman's curves and makes no mistake about it, that this is a woman, very feminine and to those who are still hesitating, it's saying that it's time to bring one home to meet your parents.

The Malaysians are the ones wearing clothes which are at least 10 years out of fashion. Many of them came from the poorer parts of Malaysia. Just recently I asked a jhb where she came from. She said Perak. So I asked if it was Ipoh. She said no, it was somewhere near but she didn't say where, what the name of that town was either because she had an inferiority complex or because she thought I was unlikely to have heard of it, so what for.. no point.

The Chinese are another kettle of fish. In their attempt to dress well, they over killed. Their dress sense is so exaggerated that... I'd better stop here before I get ceca bombs thrown at me telling me to balek.... go home... go back to Mumbai.  Rolleyes

Perhaps it is because I pick my daughter from school 3-4 days a week that I get to see this more often.

Some sports "jackets" are very thin. They are what we used to call windbreakers

Young peepur may wear it to look fashionable especially those who are brand conscious.

I was at a sports shop yesterday and was tempted to buy some of the stuff there like long sleeved jerseys, T-shirts, shoes, bags and "windbreakers".

I was deciding which brand to buy...Puma, Adidas, Under Armour....

I'd save even more by buying a Chinese brand which does not sound like an angmo brand or has a logo which looks alike.

It may be a Yong An, Bai Le, Hua Ming... but not Li Ning which while Chinese has price tags which match Adidas, Nike, Under Armour..

When you use an Under Armour you paid for bragging rights, that you can afford to buy the real deal. When you use an Under Mao, you paid for others' right to laugh at you.  Rolleyes

I consider allowing yourself to be sold an overpriced low ses brand to be beyond stupid.

Nowadays it's either Puma, Under Armour or Adidas. The rest.. don't waste time.  Rolleyes

It's interesting to think about why some people might not prioritize their appearance, especially in warm weather. Personally, I believe comfort plays a big role for many, and the humid climate here can make dressing up feel like a challenge. However, it's totally possible to stay stylish and comfy, even in hot weather! Sometimes it just takes finding the right pieces. Speaking of which, I recently stumbled upon some trendy and sexy clothes online at https://thedom.com/bianca-spender, like Bianca Spender's collection. Might be worth a look if you're looking to elevate your warm-weather wardrobe.
