Quite true, after 2 years the wage increase will be forgotten............when the next GE comes around.  The  MIW will give 'sweets' to the citizens before announcing the date of GE........

time to review to more market rate for political office holders. usa, uk is a good reference.
cost of government should be as lean as possible.
