You see wa muhaimin can mean watcher/criterion/ final authority/ guidance/ supreme authority....these are different meanings

English is new and a soft language.
Can not match with Semitic languages.

There is no English translation even for Salah/Solat.We just use the word prayer which isn’t the correct word.
Each Quran translator has chosen the best word for Muhaimin. However  you agree or not,The Quran supersedes all the previous scriptures.

“So woe to those who distort the Scripture with their own hands then say, “This is from Allah”—seeking a fleeting gain! So woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for what they have earned.”Quran 2:79

Then in the footsteps of the prophets, We “sent Jesus, son of Mary, confirming the Torah revealed before him. And We gave him the Gospel containing guidance and light and confirming what was revealed in the Torah—a guide and a lesson to the God-fearing.”Quran 5:46

“So let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed in it. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are ˹truly˺ the rebellious.”Quran 5:47

The Bible is the supreme authority over the Quran. We do not need to go to the Quran for any verification but the Quran needs to go to the Bible in order to stand!

The Bible can be likened to an attractive man, while the Quran resembles a bashful woman who often gazes at him, seeking answers and love in her heart... Big Grin

How can the Bible have the authority over Quran ?

-Quran came only after Sufuh /Scroll ( given to Abraham)Torah/Tawrat ( given to Moses)Sabur / psalm ( given to David) Injeel/ Gospel ( given to Jesus)

-Quran and Muslim don’t follow/accept Old and New Testament which are called bible.

Does the bible have authority over Hindu and Buddhist books which came before your bibles?

Quran Chapter 98-(Al Bayyinah/Clear proof)

“The disbelievers from the People of the Book and the polytheists were not going to desist ˹from disbelief˺ until the clear proof came to them:

a messenger from Allah, reciting scrolls of ˹utmost˺ purity,

containing upright commandments.

It was not until this clear proof came to the People of the Book that they became divided ˹about his prophethood˺—

even though they were only commanded to worship Allah ˹alone˺ with sincere devotion to Him in all uprightness, establish prayer, and pay alms-tax. That is the upright Way.

Indeed, those who disbelieve from the People of the Book and the polytheists will be in the Fire of Hell, to stay there forever. They are the worst of ˹all˺ beings.

Indeed, those who believe and do good—they are the best of ˹all˺ beings.

Their reward with their Lord will be Gardens of Eternity, under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. This is ˹only˺ for those in awe of their Lord.”

Luke and Paul never met Jesus. Both were Jews. What Made Holy Spirit to inspired them?😳

From google 👌

What was the relationship between Luke and Paul?

Paul's relationship with Luke was unique. He refers to Timothy and Titus as sons (1 Timothy 1:18; Titus 1:4). But Luke is a friend, beloved and loyal. He is the other half of “we.” He alone remains.

Which disciple never met Jesus?

Paul

Self-appointed apostle of Jesus, whom he never met, Paul was born Saul in Tarsus and was probably a Roman citizen. He was definitely a devout Jew, and among those who persecuted the early followers of Jesus for breaking Jewish law.

What was Luke's relationship with Jesus?

Luke never met Jesus.

Who wrote the Gospel of Luke?

The traditional view is that the Gospel of Luke and Acts were written by the physician Luke, a companion of Paul. Many scholars believe him to be a Gentile Christian, though some scholars think Luke was a Hellenic Jew.
many modern scholars have expressed doubt that the author of Luke-Acts was the physician Luke

Why was Jesus killed in Luke?

According to Luke, Jesus was crucified as a potential threat to Rome. Luke portrays Jerusalem's Jewish leadership as instrumental in Jesus' execution.

Allah instructed Muhammad to refer to earlier scriptures if he had doubts, so you tell me which source is the supreme authority?

How do you know how Jesus prayed, where he was born, or what language he spoke? You lack the answers! You must go to the Bible for answers because your Quran is inadequate, so which book do you regard as the ultimate authority?

Jacob Wrestles With God
22 That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. 23 After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. 24 So Jacob was left alone, and a manwrestled with him till daybreak.25 When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man.26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”
But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”
27 The man asked him, “What is your name?”
“Jacob,” he answered.
28 Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel,[a] because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”
29 Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.”
But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there.
30 So Jacob called the place Peniel,[b] saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”
31 The sun rose above him as he passed Peniel,[c] and he was limping because of his hip.32 Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socket of the hip, because the socket of Jacob’s hip was touched near the tendon.. Genesis 32:22-32

If you still want to follow Injeel , Quran say Allah will judge you based only on Injeel given to Jesus on the judgement day , Not the New Testament you are holding.

So,You should find the Injeel in Aramaic.

Was Jesus crucified for the sins of the Humanity or the threat to Rome as mentioned in Luke?So you believe holyspirit inspired him to write the contradicting events?

Jesus wasn’t an illiterate, Why should others write his teachings?

Both Paul and Luke were Jews and persecuted the  true followers of Jesus , How sincere were they  to teaching of Jesus ?

Mary Magadalene was close to Jesus, as per your belief, She was even at the site when Jesus was crucified, why don’t you have a gospel from her?

Where is the Injeel? The Christians have the OT and NT during Muhammad’s time...no one or no reports of any new revelation or book....Did Allah lie? He said He revealed the Gospel to Jesus..so according to you, what is the injeel? If there is another different book...we would have known
The Injeel is the NT..

The Quran says that God promises to preserve the Remembrance in Surah 15, Verse 9. Also we see that the Torah and Gospel were referred to as Remembrance and this is supported by appealing to Surah 16:43, 21:7, 21:48, 21:105 and 40:53-54.

If you say that the Gospel was lost, then your Allah has failed to live up to His promise of preserving the Gospel Big Grin
