How do you identify a false prophet?

True prophets are those who receive their words directly from God. This is evident in passages like Deuteronomy 18:18-19, where God says, “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him

This Biblical verse will be at odds with Islamic teachings because Allah does not speak to prophets...He relays his messages through angel Gabriel to His prophets...

When a prophet can fall under black magic and acts under Satan's influence...this prophet is considered false... Big Grin

What Did Balaam Do?
Balaam rode his donkey along with the Moabites to go curse the Israelites. We don’t know why God was “angry when he went” (Number 20:22) but we can imagine God knows Balaam’s ways. To end Balaam’s willfulness, God sends an angel to block the path. But Balaam, intent on his assignment, doesn’t notice the angel. But the donkey does. Three times.
The first time, it causes the donkey to swerve away. And in an unsettling reveal of Balaam’s true nature, Balaam beats the frightened donkey back onto the path. The second time, the angel stands in a narrow path with walls on both sides. Again...Balaam exacts his frustration by beating the poor donkey. Finally, on the third account, the angel stands where “there is no room to turn, either to the right or the left” (Numbers 20:26).
The donkey is so frightened, it lays down, with Balaam still riding him. And how does Balaam behave? You guessed it. He beats the terrified animal who is already as low as he can get.
At this point, Scripture tells us the Lord opened the donkey’s mouth, and the donkey asks “What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?” Outraged Balaam cries, “You have made a fool of me! If only I had a sword in my hand I would kill you right now” (Numbers 20:29).

No weapons that forms against me shall prosper
No tongue that rises against me I shall condemn

Only those who look to Christ for salvation shall live, in line with Jesus's teaching that only those who exercise faith in Him will be saved. Period.

I guess we have a different concept of forgiveness. Your portrayal of the almighty Creator is different from the Quran. We believe in an all-merciful and often-forgiving God. Prophet Daniel gave the same description of God in Daniel 9:9. What you have been showing me is anti-that, a merciless God who would punish a child stealing a lollipop with the same punishment as a rapist or a mass murderer. And no matter how you spin it, the picture is still an unforgiving God who insists on being paid with the blood of an innocent man, payment for the sins we have committed, a foreign idea that had never been heard before till Christians came along with it.

What Jesus taught on salvation is the same as what Daniel or Ezekiel taught in the Jewish Bible. It continues with the Muslims, who are taught by the last messenger sent by the God of Jesus.

Peace and blessings be upon all the prophets mentioned.

A false prophet teachings can not last 1400 years.

These individuals argue that Jesus should not have to die for the sins of others, asserting that a merciful and just God would not require such a sacrifice....that everyone should be judge by their own actions.....

Let me show you one eg of a unmerciful and unfair God....
If you believe in Allah, then you have to submit to Muhammad and believe in his words...

Abu Musa' reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:

When it will be the Day of Resurrection Allah would deliver to every Muslim a Jew or a Christian and say: That is your rescue from Hell-Fire.

There exists a balance between good and evil in the world. His teachings have maintained this equilibrium for 1,400 years, and ultimately, evil can never surpass good.

That is why Islam will never be the dominant religion....if it is ..then The world will be in big trouble! The end of the world will be near!

"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. (John 5:24)

"For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believe in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day." (6:40)

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?" (11:25-26)

None of those verses give us the offer for salvation like the one you believe, where all one must do is simply to believe Jesus paid for sins with his death on the cross.

I will explain what a false prophet is. He argues that Jews and Christians should be judged by their own scriptures and claims those books are from Allah. However, in the hadith, he states that Allah will substitute a Muslim with a Jew or Christian over hell fire....

Which false prophet came to curse the Lord?

I have read about Paul of Tarsus who came around and said Jesus is a curse.
